The problem with beans is they make you toot like a sailor. You become very unpopular with your friends. :( Could I make that recipe without beans?

I agree about the slide show. I don't like a lot of spicy dishes and a list of the recipes would be a lot more convenient.

Just a note for those who don't want to go through the slideshow...Just click "print all" at the top of the slide window and they will be in a long list that you can scroll down.

I am sorry people but if you are on a small budget? Veggies are the best and cheapest thing you can die with all the crap or live a better life. Spend some of your budget on Vegetable Plants, Check for sales on good foods and stock up!! It is not hard to live a diabetic lifestyle, if you choose to! Salads are not expensive. So stop bellyaching your bad eating habits got you into this and change can help you get out!

I have been watching my carbs for 6 mos and I have lost 65 lbs. My neuropathy is still severe, but controlled, with Metanx and Gabapentin. My doc wants to take me off Gabapentin and put me on Lyrica. OK! I also take Metformin 2 x per day. My blood sugar is excellent, and, I feel wonderful.

Who do you think has time to go thru 34 slides. If I cant' get a recipe list or thumbnails I rarely look anymore it's just too time consuming. Seems like a big waste of your time putting the slideshow together since it's too long to view

I just can't believe how many carbs are in most of these recipes. If you would limit your carbs to 30 - 50 per DAY, you could most probably get completely off your Type 2 meds and lose weight. I lost 70 lbs and have been off all meds for 3 years. Check out real low carb recipes at www.ourlowcarblife.com

I agree! Get rid of the time consuming slides and make a list with a pic and summary so we can choose to look at only the ones we think we will like.

I agree with others about the slides, also on the popups, if you go to tools at top of your browser, turn on your popup blocker. Works for me.

How strange I was just thinking the same thing. It's so time consuming to go through each slide and I thought wouldn't it be nice to see a list with a small pick that I could choose what sounded good to me. Take it from a former designer and now a mother of a two year old and one on the way. Time is limited and I get so much email any design that could save time would be appreciated. I love this site for ideas on eating healthy.

I also agree. I'd much rather see a list, even a list with small photo of the recipe, rather than having to page through them all. Takes way too long. Often, I'll just "x" out rather than go through that process!

I agree with the person who said that he/she would like to see a list of recipes instead of having to page through all the ones that are not what is wanted. Kills time needed for other things, like cooking the recipe. SCB
