All this Complainin' about a stack of confounded pancakes??? Well lands sakes, there just ain't no pleasin' some folks!
8/2/2010 08:38:03 PM Report AbuseKiss my grits! LOL
8/2/2010 08:32:13 PM Report AbuseThat looks good but sadly, yogurt gives me the runs.
8/2/2010 01:37:48 PM Report AbuseThe problem with beans is they make you toot like a sailor. You become very unpopular with your friends. :( Could I make that recipe without beans?
8/2/2010 11:16:59 AM Report AbuseFOR imsmilinkaren : Check each recipe, I found portion size on everyone of them.
7/28/2010 02:06:37 PM Report Abusewhy don't they put down what size is a serving?
7/21/2010 05:59:19 PM Report AbuseI agree about the slide show. I don't like a lot of spicy dishes and a list of the recipes would be a lot more convenient.
7/21/2010 05:21:54 PM Report AbuseJust a note for those who don't want to go through the slideshow...Just click "print all" at the top of the slide window and they will be in a long list that you can scroll down.
7/12/2010 07:17:44 AM Report AbuseI am sorry people but if you are on a small budget? Veggies are the best and cheapest thing you can die with all the crap or live a better life. Spend some of your budget on Vegetable Plants, Check for sales on good foods and stock up!! It is not hard to live a diabetic lifestyle, if you choose to! Salads are not expensive. So stop bellyaching your bad eating habits got you into this and change can help you get out!
6/28/2010 03:00:33 PM Report AbuseI have been watching my carbs for 6 mos and I have lost 65 lbs. My neuropathy is still severe, but controlled, with Metanx and Gabapentin. My doc wants to take me off Gabapentin and put me on Lyrica. OK! I also take Metformin 2 x per day. My blood sugar is excellent, and, I feel wonderful.
6/15/2010 06:58:56 PM Report Abusewww.ourlowcarblife.com might have recipes low in carbs but it does not include any other nutritional informtion. As everyone knows you need to eat balanced with low fat, low carbs, low cholesterol.
4/28/2010 06:08:05 PM Report AbuseI agree, the slides take to long to load.
4/27/2010 09:00:08 PM Report AbuseWho do you think has time to go thru 34 slides. If I cant' get a recipe list or thumbnails I rarely look anymore it's just too time consuming. Seems like a big waste of your time putting the slideshow together since it's too long to view
4/27/2010 08:51:04 PM Report AbuseThanks for the heads up on pop-up blockers!
4/27/2010 05:41:10 PM Report AbuseI just can't believe how many carbs are in most of these recipes. If you would limit your carbs to 30 - 50 per DAY, you could most probably get completely off your Type 2 meds and lose weight. I lost 70 lbs and have been off all meds for 3 years. Check out real low carb recipes at www.ourlowcarblife.com
4/27/2010 04:28:47 PM Report Abusehow about something for low income people that can only afford potatoes, beans, rice flour/corn torillas and high fat meats.
4/27/2010 04:01:37 PM Report AbuseI agree! Get rid of the time consuming slides and make a list with a pic and summary so we can choose to look at only the ones we think we will like.
4/27/2010 02:00:49 PM Report AbuseI agree with others about the slides, also on the popups, if you go to tools at top of your browser, turn on your popup blocker. Works for me.
4/17/2010 07:01:57 AM Report AbuseYES everyone is right........too many times I have to accept "allow pop-ups from this site",because of pop-ups!
4/12/2010 06:21:09 PM Report AbuseToo many pop ups and just list the recipes.
4/9/2010 02:59:47 PM Report AbuseHow strange I was just thinking the same thing. It's so time consuming to go through each slide and I thought wouldn't it be nice to see a list with a small pick that I could choose what sounded good to me. Take it from a former designer and now a mother of a two year old and one on the way. Time is limited and I get so much email any design that could save time would be appreciated. I love this site for ideas on eating healthy.
4/9/2010 09:40:59 AM Report Abusefix your page with lists of recipes, for all of us who feel the same way!!!
4/1/2010 01:45:24 PM Report AbuseI also agree. I'd much rather see a list, even a list with small photo of the recipe, rather than having to page through them all. Takes way too long. Often, I'll just "x" out rather than go through that process!
4/1/2010 09:44:41 AM Report AbuseI agree with the person who said that he/she would like to see a list of recipes instead of having to page through all the ones that are not what is wanted. Kills time needed for other things, like cooking the recipe. SCB
3/25/2010 12:53:44 PM Report Abusecieces
3/23/2010 08:33:05 PM Report AbuseI wish you would list names of the recipes so I could go to the one I am interested in rather than having to go from slide to slide.
3/23/2010 11:41:39 AM Report AbuseIt's too bad that something like the "pop-ups" are going to scare readers off. I totally agree. Too bad, the recipes are great!!!
3/8/2010 02:58:48 PM Report AbuseI have read this daily recipes and it's good for a diabetic persons for a daily meals.
2/27/2010 12:35:01 PM Report AbuseI agree also. It would be nice to read more than 1/2 of a "page" before yet another pop up ad pops up!
2/23/2010 09:57:26 PM Report AbuseI agree with the popup ads. I'm going to cancel my subscription.
2/23/2010 04:02:58 PM Report AbuseI show my husband some of the great recipes that I like, he looks at me if I have lost it,eggs, bacon his idea of breakfast, so I just do my recipes when I am by myself.Keep up great ideas. They look and taste good.
