Planning dinner doesn't have to be a headache with this personal diabetes menu. Take a look at this list of delicious diabetic meals that are made to fit into the recommended daily carb allowance.

What's for Dinner?

Watching the number of carbs in each dish is important for every meal. With this menu plan, you won't have to worry about how many carbs you're consuming because we've already checked for you! These meals have 45-75 grams of carb each (3-5 carb choices). Ideally:

Women should have 45-60 grams of carb per meal (3-4 carb choices)
Men should have 60-75 grams of carb per meal (4-5 carb choices)

These guidelines are from the book Basics: Type 2 Diabetes (International Diabetes Center, 2004) and are for people who are looking to maintain their weight and do little physical activity.
