Nonstick cooking spray
1 16-ounce loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 of a 6-ounce package pizza-style Canadian-style bacon or thinly sliced, cooked turkey pepperoni
1-1/2 cups thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup shredded reduced-fat 4-cheese Italian blend cheese or mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons snipped fresh flat-leaf parsley

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly coat a 12-inch pizza pan or a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll bread dough to a 12-1/2-inch circle. Transfer dough circle to prepared pan; build up edges. Prick the dough several times with a fork.

2. Bake for 10 minutes. Spread pizza sauce over hot crust. Top with Canadian-style bacon or pepperoni and mushrooms. Sprinkle with cheese.

3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is browned. Sprinkle with parsley. Makes 8 servings.

I agree with biggsmiss. I too was looking for a recipe to make the pizza dough. The one this gives is the same as using a cakemix and saying you made a homemade cake. britam62@yahoo.com
