Whole Wheat Pizza with the Works

With pizza-style Canadian-style bacon and four-cheese blend to boost the seasonings, this mouthwatering pizza is loaded with flavor but has only 216 calories and 6 grams of fat per serving.

dissolve 1 envelope dry yeast in 1/2 c warm water in large bowl. mix 1 1/2 c lukewarm water 1/2 c sugar and 3/4 tsp salt together add to yeast mixture. mix and add 1egg 1/4 c oil mix well together. add 6 - 6 1/2 c flour knead add little more flour if needed so dough not sticky cover with saran wrap let raise in warm place Makes 4-5 pizzas can put in gallon storage bag release air and seal. keeps 5 days in refrigerator. Very good dough

Nonstick cooking spray
1 16-ounce loaffrozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
1/2 cuppizza sauce
1/2 of a 6-ounce packagepizza-style Canadian-style bacon or thinly sliced, cooked turkey pepperoni
1-1/2 cupsthinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cupshredded reduced-fat 4-cheese Italian blend cheese or mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoonssnipped fresh flat-leaf parsley

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly coat a 12-inch pizza pan or a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll bread dough to a 12-1/2-inch circle. Transfer dough circle to prepared pan; build up edges. Prick the dough several times with a fork.

2. Bake for 10 minutes. Spread pizza sauce over hot crust. Top with Canadian-style bacon or pepperoni and mushrooms. Sprinkle with cheese.

3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is browned. Sprinkle with parsley. Makes 8 servings.
